I've worked with adults from different backgrounds dealing with a wide range of issues, such as depression, loss, bereavement, suicide, sexual, emotional or physical abuse, low self-esteem, anxiety, difficulty in relationships, identity problems, trauma. My clinical experience is in the NHS, charity sector such as the Wimbledon Guild, Richmond Borough Mind and Kids Company and private practice.
I was granted a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy at Regent's University, London. At the same time, completed a training in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) at the Anna Freud Centre.
My approach consists in exploring together your experience, and how you approach your life, problems and relationships. We are trying to understand the effect hidden on those familiar ways of being and relating to the world.
It is through the process of dialogue, listening and questioning, that awareness can be gained and new understanding of your experience can be brought forth; in you listening to yourself more closely, insight and understanding can be achieved and new possibilities encountered.
I like to work with embodiment, dreams, using art and metaphors, but most important of all is that you feel free to use this space in your own way and at your own pace.
